Registration

General Information

Registration and orientation are conducted on a one-on-one basis.
Classes are self-paced and can be completed at home (optional). However, please note that all tests and quizzes must be taken at our school location.

Step 1

What to bring:

Proof of Utah Residency Please click here Proof Of Residency to view the documents that qualify as proof of residency.
In-district students whose graduating class has not yet graduated must withdraw from their current or boundary high school.
After withdrawing, the registrar will provide you with the following documents to bring when enrolling at Southwest Adult High School:
- Withdrawal form
- GED Candidate and Adult Education Eligibility form
- Transcript

Step 2

Registration:

Complete Intake form

You will have the opportunity to tour the school with Jan Goodwin, Director, who will discuss your graduation plan and provide detailed information about our programs.

Step 3

Once registration is completed:

Complete a pre-class assessment to identify areas for improvement (this will take 2-3 hours)
Begin working toward earning your high school diploma or GED
